Business Improvement Strategy

Central Highlands Regional Council

A complex, whole of business review and operational change strategy successfully driving sustainable uplift.

Infinitum Partners worked with Central Highlands Regional Council to review, design and deliver a full-service business improvement strategy to dramatically improve the operational success and outputs of the council’s Planning Department.

Working in deep partnership with council and within the council team, Infinitum Partners conducted a robust, forensic review and business process mapping exercise, inclusive of the compliance and development assessment areas. The team then utilised the findings to support council’s leadership team with a range of people, process, and systems improvement initiatives.

In doing so Team IP also supported the transition and integration of council’s CRM, and policy and compliance software implementation for improved operational success.

Through comprehensive process, Infinitum Partners then worked immersively to manage staff change negotiations, business fatigue, project challenges, policy education, training, capacity building of  system capabilities and optimisation of a final, improved business configuration for Council.

After previous, significant council investments and attempts at business improvement and transition for the Planning Department, the Infinitum Partners team successfully resolved legacy issues, in addition to delivering the added bonus of supporting council’s significant financial investment in the implementation of CRM and workflow management software.
