Wellness Hub and Community Coffee
Ballycara
Identification and navigation of development pathways and ‘green light’ for a unique charitable development.
Specialist residential aged care and wellness not-for-profit, BallyCara engaged Infinitum Partners to provide expert navigation of development application pathways for the creation of a unique local community wellness centre and supporting coffee cart on the north side of Brisbane.
Given the unique community focused services provided Infinitum Partners needed to work closely with the applicant and the council to initially define the project and ensure there was a common understanding of the proposal’s intent, composition, and operation.
To achieve success for the client, Infinitum Partners identified planning pathways, definitions, and an engagement strategy for the project, each designed to ensure the overall development was well received by council and community, and ultimately for the development to proceed.
Team IP worked closely with the community, the council, and council staff to ensure all parties were well appraised of the project, its intent and community benefits.
The process was highly successful, with full approval being achieved for a fantastic community asset that plays a significant role is assisting ageing Queenslanders do so longer in their homes.
