Infinitum Partners were engaged by Marquette Properties to support the optimisation of development outcomes and economic uplift via an innovative planning and engagement response to a significant local government policy document and planning scheme amendment.
Tasked to find new ways to capitalise on this council-led strategic planning activity, Infinitum Partners built a clever action plan and robust engagement strategy for the landholder, culminating in two detailed planning submissions and follow up process for the client to continue engaging positively, post-submission.
Through considered engagement with Infinitum partners’ broader network, the team were able to ensure the submission positions were aligning as closely as possible with council, providing viable evidence based alternatives where alignment could not be found, whilst also ensuring consistency with other key submitters, providing the best opportunity for Marquette’s representations to be positively received by Council.
The team’s overall success in the delivery of a bold, ‘out-of-the-box’ strategy enabled Marquette Properties to unlock opportunity and use local planning process to their advantage, supporting their intended development outcomes.
